Manali is positioned at an altitude approx 2000 m in the Kullu district in Shimla. Along with travelers, Manali is also been a popular destination for new couples that goes there for honeymoons. Hadimba shrine- it is one of the most sacred places in Manali which was positioned much far away from the hurly-burly of city lifestyle. The temple was built in 1553 and now, completely surrounded from rich flora & fauna along with thick deodar trees. This temple is also well-known as Dhoongri temple because it is situated within the Dhoongri forest. Hadimba temple is devoted to Hindu mythology Goddess, Hidimba. She was the wife of Bhima, one of 5 Pandavas from the classic ‘Mahabharata’. Within the temple premises, there is large brass statue of Goddess Hadimba devi kept. Nearby the temple, there is also a statue of Ghatotkacha (son of Lord Bhima & Hadimba Devi) positioned. In the month of May, the temple also organizes a 3 days ‘Hadimba Devi festival’ that draws million of devotees from across the planet.


Club house- It is an amusement park with wide range of recreational and sports services. Club house is located on the left shore of Manalsu Nallah river. It’s a master piece of marvelous British architecture; now, this park runs under the tourism department of Himachal Pradesh. Tourists can enjoy several indoor & outdoor games at this park like carom, skating, table tennis, carting etc. Along with this, there is also a restaurant where you can enjoy several tastes of coffee & tea. If you are an adventure loving, you can cross the river with the help of pre-installed rope over the river. The park is opened throughout the year and the timing is 10 to 6 p.m.

Naggar Village- If you want a break from the hustle & bustle of the metro life, then this is the perfect place for you. This beautiful Naggar village is located on the bank of river Beas and enrich with variety of flora & fauna. Inside the village, there is also a heritage hotel located which presents breathtaking scenes of the Beas basin. Nicholas Roerich Art gallery is also an important underline of the village that displays popular Himalayan artist’s jobs.
